What Daddy's do when Mommy's aren't watching

Here are some pix of my used to be blond child post haircut from Daddy. Keep in mind... Family pix are just a few weekends away. The boys wanted to pay tribute to their Uncle Brian who is serving in Iraq for the Army right now. I sure hope his hair grows fast. Of course now both of my children are BALD because I was not going to let them go to school with crooked Mohawks. LOL

I speak Norwegian, yea

My creative FFP taught my little sweet Blondy how to fluctuate his voice to sound "Norwegian". He has the accent down to a T like some big Swedish maid or massage therapist who will turn you into a pretzel if you let them. He goes to school and tells his teacher that Daddy taught him "Norwegian" and tells her that he can teach her by "just saying YEA like a question at the end of every sentence". She laughed so hard she almost cried and now I'll have to get it on tape to prove it to you all. I'm so glad my kids (and my hubby) are so freakin creative and keep me laughing every day. I am so blessed.

This is a disclosure that my child and my husband mean no disrespect by speaking in the stereotypical voice of those from Norway or Sweden area of Europe.

Greased Lighting

Blondy was moving so fast tonight at the park. We took Hollywood out to ride his bike without training wheels for the first time and he rocked. Blondy was very anxious to ride his without training wheels too. I am sure it won't be long and he'll be racing his brother all over the place. Here is a pic from tonights excursion to the new park north of town. Poor kid has to peddle at least twice as far as his counterpart on the big boy bike.

A great best friend to spend the day with!



Blondy had a great first day at school with his his very best friend 5 going on 21. Unfortunately she got accepted to the other school where her sister and Hollywood went last year so the excitement of being in the same class was short lived. Blondy is very ambitious and wants to know how to read "RIGHT NOW." I can't wait to work in the class and be involved in the PTA. I know I'm a nerd...

Campin makes you DIRTY! Good thing I'm so darn cute

I am so thankful that you love to camp. You are so creative that its easy for you to stay busy with just some sand toys a bucket, a beach and a lake. I can't wait to take you camping again. I can't wait for you to go fishing and hunting with your dad. I can't wait for the day that you can put up your own tent... Or maybe I can. I love this age you are at and will cherish it and hold onto it as long as I can. Thank you, Blondy, for being YOU!

My Blond Bombshell

On a nice May morning we welcomed you to the world 5 years ago. You had white hair and big sweet baby cheeks. That aspect hasn't changed but you are no longer a baby. You are officially a Kindegartener in just 10 days. You give me dozens if not hundreds of loves and kisses every single day. I will be sad if (when) there comes a day that slows or even ends. I promise for you and your brother to be the best Mommy I can be and welcome your love whenever you want to give it. Even when you are in trouble. You will still be punished but I will not turn away from your love, EVER. That is something you can always count on from Daddy and Me. We love you both more than the world.
